Finnish animals like the arctic fox, gray seal, brown bear, snowy owl, wolverine, and European otter adapt well to this cold climate. Reindeer are the most famous animals native to this country.

In Finland there are six large mammal predators: brown bear, wolf, lynx, wolverine, grey seal and ringed seal living in the sea. The interaction between predators and human activities is the main reason for the so-called predator hate.
